Giant arrow shaped foliage that is stronger than other arrowheads. It will flower all season with white petals with a red dot and yellow center. Grows in the sun to part shade and likes the water depth of around 5”.’

This plant has foliage that is narrower than other arrowheads. It grows to a height of about 12”. It has white flowers that are common to many in the species. Good choice for smaller ponds. Likes sun to part shade. Plant in 1 – 4” of water. Zone 3

This plant sports the characteristic arrow-shaped leaves and white flowers that appear throughout the summer. It will spread nicely and is easy to control. Grows in sun to part shade in moist soil or 6 – 7” of water. It grows 12 – 18” in height.

The Black Gamecock is a color variety of the Louisiana Iris and is a tropical Bog Plant. The large, dramatic black to purple flowers of this plant grows up to 6 inches across. The Black Gamecock can get as tall as 3'.

Blue vervain (Verbena hastata) grows 3 to 5 feet tall and spreads 2 to 5 feet wide. The reddish-green stems have flat sides and are covered with fine hairs. Five-inch flower spikes are covered with violet flowers in June to September.

These plants are covered with lavender blue petunia like flowers. Purple green leaves provide a wonderful contrast to any pond. Blooms in July all through September. The plant grows about 1’ tall. Plant in shallow water.

Glossy heart-shaped leaves add a beautiful dimension to your pond. This plant will periodically send up a flower during the season , and when it does, the pure white trumpet-shaped flower will stay open for weeks.

These tropical cannas are tall and impressive, topped with very colorful flowers that bloom until the first frost. Full sun is best for bringing out the strongest color and most flowers, but will grow in deep shade as well.

A very fragrant plant with the scent of cinnamon. Dense, erect shoots that bear lance-shaped leaves. These leaves are smooth and dark green. It can grow up to 6’+ tall in right conditions. Light shade to full shade.

Chameleon (Houttuynia) is excellent ground or edge cover. Mosaic crimson-blue-green-cream colored leaves change with varying light conditions.

Small but intense blue flowers bloom all summer long. Low spreading only growing 4 – 6” tall in 3” of water. Excellent for stream or pond edges. Foliage is rounded and slightly toothed and shiny. This is a delightful addition to any pond.

This Forget-Me-Not has blue flowers that begin blooming in the spring and will continue throughout the summer. This is a wonderful ground and pond edge cover. Loves shade or sun and cool water. Plant in moist soil or water depth up to 2”. Hardy Zone 4

This southern belle is a favorite to those that love large flowers. Flowers range in size but are usually 5 – 8” wide. The plant itself can grow 6 – 8’ tall. Tip prune in early summer to encourage branching.
Hornwort Submergent

Laura Louise is a sharp yellow variety of Louisiana Iris that grows to 3' tall. The flowers appear in spring on 2-3 foot stems held above the striking foliage. Louisiana Iris are among the most durable in the iris culture.

Scamp is a variety of Louisiana Iris with unique yellow signal on medium lavender fals. The flowers appear in spring on 2-3 foot stems held above the striking foliage. Louisiana Iris are among the most durable in the iris culture.

Top Notch is a variety of Louisiana Iris that grows to 2'-3' tall and blooms in April. The flowers are two tone red with yellow signals. Louisiana Iris are among the most durable in the iris culture.

Lake Sedge

The hardy water lily is the jewel and staple of the water garden, known for its floating leaves and its brilliant flowers which sit on the surface of the water.

H/W 2'-4' X 6" Wet to moist loam soils in full sun to part sun. Brilliant red flowers in July-Sept. Attracts hummingbirds. Shallow roots need to be kept consistently moist. Nice raingarden plant. Zone 3

Elegant clusters of large spoon-shaped leaves and sprays of white flowers that resemble cascades of roses. Grows in clumps and keeps to itself not forcing its presence upon a pond. It likes sun to shade. Grows in 2 to 6 water depth. Zone 5 11

Monkey Flower, aquatic variety, has a yellow flower and does very well in part to full shade, moist areas or water to 2" deep. It grows to about 12" high. A very fun plant to have and enjoy. Zone 6 - 11

Soft Stem Bulrush

Spider Lily is a tender bulbed lily growing to 10-12" and its bloom is an umbel of 2-6 spidery white flowers in June. Plant just below the waterline. Zone 8.

This plant has many spiked stems that grow to approximately 12" tall with irriescent tips.

The iris like foliage has distinctive vertical variegation and unique sweet-nutty fragrance. Plant 0-2" below water. Zone 4

Vallisneria Submergent

Varigated Rush is a unique plant with sharp green spikes sporting a vertical yellow variegation that remains stable throughout the growing season.

Nasturium officinale Water Cress quickly forms a mat over pond's margin. Does best with cool, flowing water. Soil 0-2" below water.
